 This is an Extremely Rare Document from Goliad, Texas (First Texas Declaration of Independence was Written and Signed in Goliad). Quarterly Return Of Occupation Taxes from September of 1877. The Document is signed by the residing Sheriff at that time Jame Lincoln. The following is a list of the businesses taxed:

Davis & Tally - Land Agents, H.C. Rico ? - Barber, C. Von Dohlen - Billiard Table, J. H. Von Dohlen - Merchant, Word & Scott - Livery Stables, Seth Woodruff - Lawyer, L.F. Webb - Merchant, T.H. Gott ? - Physician,I. Sperling ? - Foot Peddler, John Yeary - Merchant, Robert Sidel ? - ?

Much can be read in Texas History about John Yeary and his battle with the Indians and descendants of the Von Dohlens still reside in Goliad to this day.

This Document has been Professionally Dry Mounted & Framed, (The Original Document has not been harmed in anyway). Framed it is 21 3/4 X 15 and the portion of the Document showing is 17 1/2 X 11. This is truly an outstanding piece of Texas History and will be a great conversation piece displayed at home or in your office.
